Please note that on or around July 15, 2009, AT&T will no longer be
offering access to the Usenet netnews service. If you wish to continue
reading Usenet newsgroups, access is available through third-party
vendors.

Posted only internally to AT&T Usenet Servers.

If this means a disconnection for me, I may need to find a new ISP. It
seems I pay a lot for services like this. What are the rest of you doing?

I went to giganews years ago because ATT/SBC did not offer what I needed
anyways!

I have not figured out yet what I will be doing. Probably Google Groups
until I settle on another Usenet provider.

I wonder what it would take to operate my own Usenet server?
